I noticed folks were breaking the law about not feeding the animals and decided to matters in my own hands.
The term ? (prounced shitsuke) is sometimes translated as discipline. It is an interesting word in the language because it was one of the few for which an appropriate Chinese character did not exist and the Japanese felt a need to create a new character to express this. The character combines the elements of “body & beauty” ??& ?). In the official government Joyo Kanji there are only two other such terms Hatake-? (farm) and Touge-? (mountain pass). The uniqueness of the kanji’s origin speaks volumes on the importance of the concept to Japanese culture.

Here’s an example of the Japanese voiceover dubs for Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs, in this excerpt from “Taming of the Screwy”.
The fun thing about this is that the dinner table of course is Western style, thus practically everything they sing is in katakana-imported English — plus one imported French word.
I do have online several audio clips of Animaniacs and Tiny Toons characters from the Japanese dubs and a few other languages (none from the Italian though I do have several episodes from the Italian broadcasts). They’re linked to and explained in this old LiveJournal entry of mine: http://keeper1st.livejournal.com/38665.html
