Here’s an example of the Japanese voiceover dubs for Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs, in this excerpt from “Taming of the Screwy”.
The fun thing about this is that the dinner table of course is Western style, thus practically everything they sing is in katakana-imported English — plus one imported French word.
I do have online several audio clips of Animaniacs and Tiny Toons characters from the Japanese dubs and a few other languages (none from the Italian though I do have several episodes from the Italian broadcasts). Believe it or not, this is actually pretty important if you want to work here. There’s a lot of hidden manner things, like how to get in a taxi with your client, and it’s good to get these things handled if you want to make it in Japan.
